Can a Conflict search return matches on recent searches made by other staff members?

Yes.  The firm can determine the number of past conflict searches to retain.  When a Conflict search is performed, the system will search the database as well as the retained searches.  To set the number of conflict searches to retain:

  1. Log into Juris Suite as the System Manager user.  If you do not have this User ID and password, ask your administrator to complete these steps for you.
  2. In Juris Suite select Admin > Firm Settings.
  3. Select Conflict.
  4. Expand the Conflict options that include the settings for Days to retain searches and Number of searches to retain.
  5. Enter the number of days that you would like to retain searches (the maximum value is 30 days).
  6. Click OK. Changes made to the settings will be saved upon exit.
