It is easy to measure performance using Views in the Juris Suite workspace.
Use Heat Maps to see if you are achieving your target level of performance
Adding a Heat Map to your View
- In Juris Suite, select Summary in the Views panel.
- Click the Views button at the top right side of the screen and click My Heat Maps.

Select the type of heat map that you prefer. You may choose to view your productivity by Hours Worked, Hours to Bill, Billable Rate, Effective Rate, Amount Worked or Amount to Bill. Clicking your selection will add the heat map to your screen.
NOTE: If a heat map is already on your screen, but you would prefer to see a different type of heat map, then click the drop-down arrow in the header bar of the heat map and select the desired heat map from the drop-down menu.
Using the Heat Map
- The Heat Map will show daily productivity using colors to indicate how far above or below target values each day’s productivity has reached.
- Make sure to click your name in the Teams panel on the left side of the screen to assure that the Heat Map is showing only your values.
- Hover the mouse over a calendar day to reveal a pop-up that shows the time for that day. Double-click a day to open up the detail of time entries for that day for viewing or editing purposes.
- Hover the mouse over the color bar at the bottom of the heat map to see the values represented by each color.
- To change the colors used in the Heat Map or to modify your target values, click the Settings button.
Use the Calendar View to review daily productivity and trends
Opening the Calendar View
- In Juris Suite, select Calendar in the Views panel.
Using the Calendar View
- Make sure to click your name in the My Teams panel on the left side of the screen to assure that the Calendar is showing only your values.
- Each calendar day has a clock icon and a credit card icon. Click the clock to view time entry detail for that day, click the credit card to view expense entry detail for that day.
- Use the Trend Chart at the bottom of the screen to monitor trends in rates, amounts or hours. Click the minimize button on the Trend Chart to hide it from the screen and give you more space for viewing the Calendar.
