The Power Edit button allows you to change several entries at once. You can change the date, timekeeper, and most other fields on the entry. Here’s how:
- Select the entries to be edited. An entry may be selected from the Grid view by clicking the blue square for that row. You can select multiple, contiguous entries by selecting the first entry then holding down the Shift button and selecting the last entry. You may select multiple, separate entries by holding the Ctrl button while you click to select each entry.
- Click the Power Edit button. The button looks like a lightning bolt.
- The Power Edit form will open. A list of the entries you have selected is shown on the left side of the form. The right side of the form shows all of the fields that may be edited. Entering information in a field on the Power Edit form tells the system that you would like to replace all values for the selected entries with the value you enter here. Leaving a field blank indicates that you do not want to overwrite that value.
- Enter the correct date in the Date field. You may type in the date formatted as MM/DD/YYYY or click the down arrow on the Date field to select the date from the calendar.
- Leave all other fields blank. Click the Save button to replace the date for the selected entries with the date you entered here.
