Use a combination of filtering and sorting to find the entry by eliminating items you know you do not need to see, then arranging remaining items so that it is easy to find the particular item you need.
For example, let’s suppose you need to find an entry for a particular timekeeper that is for a certain client. The best way to find the item quickly would be to filter by Client and Timekeeper.
- Go to Time Entries (or Expense Entries) by clicking the appropriate button in the bottom left of the screen or by selecting View > My Time or View > My Expenses.
- To filter by a particular Client, make sure filtering is enabled by selecting Allow Filtering from the Layouts drop-down button.
- Click the Filter icon on the Client column and select the Client Code you wish to filter by in the drop-down list. This will remove all entries that are not for the selected client.
- Click the Filter icon on the Timekeeper column and select the Timekeeper you wish to filter by in the drop-down list. This will remove all entries that are not for the selected Timekeeper.
