This feature allows for improved performance for displaying Dashboards. This is automatically created behind the scenes and other than the settings below, there is no other setup.
When a dashboard report is requested, the system first tries to retrieve the data from the Rapid Access Data. If the data is present, then it is retrieved directly from the Rapid Access Data and the response time would be much quicker. If the dashboard data is not present in the Rapid Access Data, then the data is retrieved from the database. In the process, the Rapid Access Data is also updated with the latest retrieved data. If users having the same properties set in the dashboard page try to get the same data again, the data is retrieved from the Rapid Access Data.
