To create a user defined spread:

While in the budget, right-click on the row and select Apply Spread.

Click New.
- Enter the spread name and description.
- Enter the formula to be used by the spread.
- Source: The field to be calculated
- Unit: Controls the spread amount. This is either Percentage or Value. If Percentage is selected the spread amount will be a percentage. If Value is selected, the spread amount will be a whole number.
- Operator: Add, subtract, multiply or divide
- Spread Amount: Enter your spread amount
- Save your new spread by clicking the Save button.
- Click Apply to apply the new spread to the current budget.
- The new user defined spread is now available in the defined spread drop down list and can be utilized again.
