The Distribution Service runs off of the default company.
Distribution Maintenance allows you to create, edit and run distributions. Distributions are defined recipient lists with scheduled deliveries of specific reports. Recipients can included defined teams as well as individuals and external recipients. There are a few components required to establish a distribution. They are as follows:
- Distribution name
- Reports to be distributed
- Time schedule
- Recipients list
New Distribution
To create a new report distribution, perform the following:
- Select the Distribution Maintenance tab from the tool ribbon. Click the New button to open the Report Distribution wizard window.
- The Report Distribution Wizard window will open and default to the General setting. The General setting allows you to enter a name for the distribution. You can also provide a description and toggle whether or not the distribution is active and can send empty reports.

After you have completed the General setting, click the Reports setting to choose the appropriate reports to distribute. The view will change and prompt you do add reports. Click the green plus sign to begin adding reports. The Open Report search window will appear. To learn more about using the search reports window, click here. Note that the title of the window is different in the link, but the functionality is exactly same.
Use the red circle minus button to remove the Selected Reports from the list. Also, toggling the Select Send To Parameters disables the External Targets setting. This means that no one with an outside email address can receive the reports listed.
Below is a quick reference list as to how the Select Send to Parameters function.
- Select Timekeeper box is unchecked and Employee is selected. - Received report for all working timekeepers.
- Select Timekeeper box is checked and Employee is selected. - Only received my information (as a working timekeeper)
- Select Timekeeper box is unchecked and a Team is selected. - Received report for all working timekeepers
- Select Timekeeper box is checked and a Team is selected. - Only received report my me as a working timekeeper
- Click the Schedule setting in the Distribution Details pane. This setting allow you to control what time(s) the distribution is sent.
- In the Targets pane, click the Employees setting to establish the recipient list of the distribution. Click the green plus sign in the Employee pane to add internal employees within Juris. Use the Send Reports to this email check box to manually add recipients and activate the Select E-mail Address pane. You can also use the Advanced link to expand extra features.

You can also Teams as recipients of distributions. Click the Teams setting in the Targets pane.

- Click the green plus sign to launch the Select Teams window. You can make your selection(s) and click the OK button.
- If you want to include External recipients, click the External Targets setting.
- When all your selections are complete, click the Save button on the Report Distribution Wizard. This will commit the settings made and display the Distribution in the main pane.
- If you want to Run the distribution manually other than the scheduled time, highlight the Distribution and click the Run Now button on the distribution tool bar.
If you want to Edit or Delete an existing Distribution, highlight the appropriate distribution and click the corresponding button in the Distribution tool bar.
You can change the main DistributionMaintenance view by clicking on one of the three buttons in the View tool bar. The view summary is listed below.
