Use the Export function to save reports in different file formats. Export options vary depending on whether you are working from the Preview, Data, or Analysis tab.
Reports can be exported in several formats, including Excel, HTML, Text, CSV, PDF, MHT, Rich Text, and Graphic formats.
Not all export formats are available on every Preview Report tab. If an export format is not available for the tab you are using, the option is grayed out or not listed.

Export to Excel
Exporting a report to Excel creates a spreadsheet file. This format is useful when you want to arrange, filter, or work with report data in Excel.

Configure the report with the appropriate parameters and conditions.

Depending on the Preview Report tab you are using, access Export to Excel from the toolbar button or the File menu.

In the Export Data (Excel) window, enter a file name.
- Select the location where you want to save the file.
- Select Save.

When prompted, choose whether to view the report in the exported format.
Export to HTML
Exporting a report to HTML is useful when you want to publish the report on a website so it can be accessed from a web browser.

Configure the report with the appropriate parameters and conditions.

Depending on the Preview Report tab you are using, access Export to HTML from the toolbar button or the File menu.

In the Export Data (HTML) window, enter a file name.
- Select the location where you want to save the file.
- Select Save.

When prompted, choose whether to view the report in the exported format.
Export to Text
Exporting a report to Text creates a simple text file that can be opened with a text reader.

In the Export Data (Text) window, enter a file name.
- Select the location where you want to save the file.
- Select Save.

Export to CSV
Exporting a report to CSV is useful when you need to upload report information or use it with utilities that can import CSV files.

Depending on the Preview Report tab you are using, access Export to CSV from the toolbar button or the File menu.

In the delimiter window, choose the separating delimiter.
- Select OK.

In the Export Data (CSV) window, enter a file name.
- Select the location where you want to save the file.
- Select Save.

When prompted, choose whether to view the report in the exported format.
Export to PDF
Exporting a report to PDF is useful when you want to distribute the report to recipients who do not have access to the reporting function.

Depending on the Preview Report tab you are using, access Export to PDF from the toolbar button or the File menu.

In the PDF Export Options window, select any PDF document options needed.
These options apply to the PDF document features and are not directly related to the report itself or the file name. The options are not required.
Available options include:
- Page range
- Compressed
- Don't embed these fonts
- Image Quality
- Application
- Author
- Keywords
- Subject
- Title
- Select OK.

- Select the location where you want to save the file.
- Select Save.

When prompted, choose whether to view the report in the exported format.
Export to MHT
Exporting a report to MHT creates an archived web page file. An MHT file uses the Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension HTML format and the .MHT file extension.
When a web page is saved as a web archive, relative links are remapped and embedded content is included in the MHT file. Absolute references or hyperlinks remain unchanged. The MHT file is viewed using Internet Explorer.

In the MHT Export Options window, select any MHT document options needed.
These options apply to the MHT document features and are not directly related to the report itself or the file name. The options are not required.
Available options include:
- Export Mode
- Page Range
- Page Border Color
- Page Border Width
- Title
- Character set
- Remove carriage returns
Select OK.

- Select the location where you want to save the file.

Export to Rich Text
Exporting a report to Rich Text creates a document format that is usually opened with Microsoft Word.

Export to Graphic
Exporting a report to a Graphic format creates an image-based file that can be used in a document or on a web page.

In the Image Export Options window, select the graphic format you want to use.
Select OK.
- In the Save window, enter a file name.
