Exporting and Importing Rules

A feature of rules is the ability to Export and Import them. You can Export rules for use by other Juris users. The Import feature allows the end users to utilize an exported rule as well a rules from the Juris Suite Marketplace Reports and Dashboards page.

Exporting a Rule

To export a rule:

  1. While in the Rule Designer, select the Rule to Export in the left hand pane.

  2. Click the Export button on the toolbar.

  3. Navigate to the appropriate location for exporting the rule.

  4. Click the Save button.

    Find a folder location for a shared network folder where those wanting to utilize it have access.

Importing a Rule

When you want to utilize a rule that has been downloaded from the Juris Suite Marketplace Reports and Dashboards page or exported from another firm member, you can use the Import function.

To import a rule:

  1. While in the Rule Designer, click the Import Rule button on the toolbar.
  2. Navigate to the rule file.
  3. Select the Rule to be imported.
  4. Click the Open button.
  5. The Rule will be displayed in the left hand pane and available for use.
