Once you have completed a Dashboard, including all pages, you need to publish it if you want others to view it. You cannot publish a page of a Dashboard. The whole Dashboard must be published.
It is best practice to set the Assign Teams permissions of a Dashboard before Publishing. You can learn more about Assigning Teams by clicking here.
To Publish a Dashboard, perform the following:
- Select the Dashboard to be published in the In Progress tree node. Remember to select the Dashboard and not the Dashboard Pages.
- Click the Publish button on the Dashboard tool ribbon.

Click the Yes button on the Publish Dashboard window.
If you have not placed any Assigned Teams on the Dashboard, an override window prompts you to continue or stop. Click Yes to proceed or No to cancel.
- The Dashboard will be moved to the Published node.
