At times it may be necessary to make adjustments to an existing Query. However, you cannot alter existing Query that come with Juris Suite. If you need to make changes to a Juris Suite query or want to make changes to a newly created query but keep the original, use the Copy Query function. To copy a query, perform the following:
- While in the Query snap-in, right click on the query you want to copy and select Copy. You can also highlight the query and click the Copy button in the tool bar.

Upon completion, the Query list will reflect the copied addition. It will have a Copy "N" of "name of query" label. "N" is the number of the copy as you can have more than one.
After the copy has been created, it is best practice to rename the copy to a more appropriate naming convention. A possibility is to include the change made within the schema. Use the Edit function to rename the Query.
