- Misc
- Dashboard Server Url - Enter the URL for the Dashboard. This generally entails changing localhost to the name of the computer hosting your Juris server.
- Rapid Access Data
These settings can help improve performance for displaying dashboards. This is created automatically and other than the settings listed below, there is no other configuration necessary. When a dashboard report is requested, the system first tries to retrieve the data from the Rapid Access Data. If the data is present, then it is retrieved directly from the Rapid Access Data and the response time would be much quicker. If the dashboard data is not present in the Rapid Access Data, then the data is retrieved directly from the database. In the process, the Rapid Access Data is also updated with the latest retrieved data. If users having the same properties set in the dashboard page try to get the same data again, the data is retrieved from the Rapid Access Data.
- Rapid Access data size: Enter the value in MB (megabytes) for the size of the cache located on the hard drive.
Setting the size to 0 MB will delete the dashboard data. The next time the user logs in, the dashboard data will be retrieved again from the database.
It is best practice to periodically check and evaluate the cache size as the database becomes larger and dashboards demand more resources. Once the memory size is exceeded, the oldest accessed (viewed) data will be deleted.
- Rapid Access data time: Enter the time when the Rapid Access data is refreshed with the latest information.
It is best practice to set the time when the Juris Suite system has the least amount of user activity.
