The first step in planning a budget is selecting the budget type. Juris Suite supports budget types for firm financial performance, timekeeper productivity, and client/matter budgeting. Multiple budgets can exist for each type.
Use budget types in Juris Suite to choose the kind of budget you want to create.
Currently, the Custom budget type is not functional.

Budget planning notes
Each budget type has its own advantages. Multiple budgets can be created for each type.
If the firm has several offices, budgets can be created for each office or for groups of people within the firm.
When used with Business Intelligence and My Reports, budgeting can help the firm review performance and profitability.
