To utilize the View Alerts Visualizer, you must have active alerts. The alerts are summarized and shown in the Visualizer, displaying the Date and the title. The alerts must be published to the Dashboard.
The exercises used are based on a testing database. You will need to adjust your values of your entries (when applicable) to accommodate the data in your database. Results displayed will differ than those in the exercises.
To add a View Alerts Visualizer to the Display Grid, perform the following:
- Select the appropriate Visualizer with the left mouse click and drag it to the desired location on the Display Grid. You will see a small plus sign next to your cursor when dragging the Visualizer. For this example, the first Visualizer is View Alerts.

The Visualizer will appear with sizing squares. The sizing squares allow you to adjust the size of the Visualizer. Select the square and drag to the appropriate size.
The center sizing square is used to move the entire Visualizer around on the Designer Grid. The cursor will turn to a 4-way arrow.
- After you have placed the Visualizer in the appropriate area, you can use the Properties node to make adjustments. For the Text Visualizer, enter the following:

As Of - This sets the range of time period of alerts published. Choices are:
- Today
- This week.
- Last week.
- This month.
- Last month.
- All
- Initially Expanded - This feature can be toggled between True (Expanded) and False (Not Expanded).
- Title - Provides a heading title for the alerts. You can create different categories for different alert notifications.

Wrap with Border - This feature allows you to toggle between True (The Alerts will wrap with the border) and False (the Alerts will NOT wrap with the border). Set to True.

As Of - This sets the range of time period of alerts published. Choices are:
The Preview Tab will not show the alerts. They will be displayed upon publishing and after having being executed.
