The center sizing square is used to move the entire Visualizer around on the Designer Grid. The cursor will turn to a 4-way arrow.

- Layers - Set Metric, Values, and Parameters. See below.

The Layers property is the area that allows you to select values, the metric and appropriate parameters for the display of the Gauge. To make changes to the Layers property, perform the following:
- Click the ellipses button.
- Enter a Maximum Value. Remember to keep in mind the Metric you are using. If it is monthly fees and you set the maximum value at 50.00 (representing dollars), the gauge will not accurately reflect the performance. Be sure to set a range of maximum and minimum. For this example enter50 for the maximum value.
- Select a Metric. For this example, choose DaysToBillAll. Be sure to double click the entry to select it.
- Enter a Minimum value. Remember to keep in mind the Metric you are using. Click the ellipses button on the Parameters field. This brings up Parameters window.
Remember that each Metric chosen will have different Parameters associated with it. The above example uses dates. Other may use Timekeepers, Teams or other aspects of the data that is being parsed. The syntax and case must be accurate when entering parameter values. To learn more about Parameter syntax and usable entries, click here.
- Selecting the Members on the left allows you to select the properties on the right. You can set each one separately. For this example, you can enter a Default Value, and a Lookup Type.
-
Default Value - This value can be used when the user logs in. Depending on the metric and member, it could be a begin date, an expense code or a timekeeper. For this example, the 'BeginDate'{First Day of this Year} will be used. For the 'End Date', {Last Day of this Month} will be used.
- The Lookup Type refers to the available values of the metric that you want to look up. Click on the ellipses button to reveal the values to choose from. For this example we are not using a Lookup Type.
