The exercises used are based on a testing database. You will need to adjust your values of your entries (when applicable) to accommodate the data in your database. Results displayed will differ than those in the exercises.
Much like the Text Visualizer, the Image Visualizer does not contain or represent any data. The Image Visualizer allows you to place an image, such as a graphic divider line or company logo on a Dashboard. There are also images that come with Juris Suite that display warnings, checkmarks and various smiley faces to indicate temperament. To access images, they need to be placed on the Dashboard server in the images folder. You will need to have access to the folder to add custom images. Your system administrator is the point of contact for having images added to the folder. To add an Image Visualizer to a Dashboard, perform the following:
- Select the appropriate Visualizer with the left mouse click and drag it to the desired location on the Display Grid. You will see a small plus sign next to your cursor when dragging the Visualizer. For this example, the first Visualizer is Image.
-
The Visualizer will appear with sizing squares. The sizing squares allow you to adjust the size of the Visualizer. Select the square and drag to the appropriate size.
The center sizing square is used to move the entire Visualizer around on the Designer Grid. The cursor will turn to a 4-way arrow.
-
After you have the Visualizer in the appropriate location, you can utilize the Properties area to make changes to the Image. You can make changes to the following:
- Image Url - This is the location of image folder. Select from an image from the folder.
- Initially Expanded - True (shows the image) False (provides a click-able arrow to reveal the image)
- Title - Displays a text title above the image.
-
Wrap with Border - Changes how the image interacts with the border of the Dashboard.0
...
- Click the Save button on the Dashboard tool ribbon.
- Click the Preview Tab to view the image on the Dashboard.
