The Report Visualizer is an area created to display reports. They can be displayed as links requiring a separate click to launch the report in a new window, or the reports can be displayed directly on the Dashboard aided by scroll bars.
The exercises used are based on a testing database. You will need to adjust your values of your entries (when applicable) to accommodate the data in your database. Results displayed will differ than those in the exercises.
Lengthy reports will require a large area on the Dashboard. To minimize that effect, use the Show as Link setting.

Select the appropriate Visualizer with the left mouse click and drag it to the desired location on the Display Grid. You will see a small plus sign next to your cursor when dragging the Visualizer. For this example, the first Visualizer is Report.

The Visualizer will appear with sizing squares. The sizing squares allow you to adjust the size of the Visualizer. Select the square and drag to the appropriate size.
The center sizing square is used to move the entire Visualizer around on the Designer Grid. The cursor will turn to a 4-way arrow. Be sure to make enough room and adjust the size of the Report to accommodate the information.
- After you have the Visualizer in the appropriate location, you can utilize the Properties area to make changes to the Report. You can make changes to the following:
- Initially Expanded - This feature can be toggled between True (Expanded) and False (Not Expanded). Set at True for this example.
- Report - Click on the ellipses button to display the Report search window.

Enter the search criteria and click the Search button. For this example, use account.
You can use the Options feature to toggle, Search on Name, Search on Description, Search on Keywords and Match Whole Word.

Select Account Analysis Detail by Client from the search results.
- Click the OK button.
- Set the Show as Link as False.
- Leave the Title as the default. Notice that the Title name is parsed from the name of the report selection. You have the option to makes changes in the field.
- This feature allows you to toggle between True (The Report will wrap with the border) and False (the Report will NOT wrap with the border.). For this example, set the value to True.

Click the Preview tab to view the Report.
- To change the report to display, return to the Properties section, Show as Link, and set to True.

Click the Preview tab to view the Report as a link.
- Click on the link to view the report in a separate window.
