The Client Matter Inquiry Analysis Tab allows you to select fields of data within the inquiry and quickly represent the chosen fields in a Pivot Grid.
By default the fields may be set to 'False' for visibility.
To utilize the Analysis tab in My Time, perform the following:
- While in the Client/Matter Inquiry function with a category chosen, click on the Analysis tab. This will enable the Pivotgrid Fields button in the Content ribbon.
- Click the Pivotgrid Fields button to open the Field Properties dialog.
- On the right are field categories showing the status of visibility. Click on a category to access the field properties. They are displayed on the right.
You can reorganize the Fields. By default, depending on the Client/Matter chosen, fields are placed in the Filter Fields category under Non-visible. You can drag and drop the fields to the different categorical headings. The moves will be reflected on the display grid. The yellow arrow will indicate the new placement location.
Not all parameters can be changed. The parameters in bold are editable; those grayed out cannot be accessed.
-
Click inside the property to change the parameter. To make the field available, change the Visibility parameter to 'True'. The parameter change will move the field out of the Non-visible area and under the heading. It will also be shown on the Pivotgrid Display pane.
To make the fields, non-visible, drag and drop them back to the Nonvisible section.
- When you have completed changing the parameters click the Close button.
-
The Pivotgrid fields changed to visible are displayed on the Pivotgrid ready to be used. Drag and drop the Fields to the appropriate location of representation.
Before placing them in the Pivotgrid, you can filter the field results buy clicking on the small filter icon in the upper right hand corner and selecting the value.
