You can view any files attached to an expense entry, regardless of the entry's status, using either the Att. column or the Attachments tab. In addition, you can change how attachments are displayed. Attachments added in either Juris Suite or Juris can be viewed in Juris Suite.
Proceed to one of the sections below for more information:
Viewing Attachments Using the Column
When using the Grid view, you can double-click directly on the icon in the Att. column to open the corresponding attachments.
If you are using an older layout (one created in a previous version of Juris Suite), you may not see the Att. column. To get it to appear, you need to add the column using the Column Chooser feature. For more information, see Using the Column Chooser .
After you click the icon, one of the following events occurs, based on the number of attachments:
- If only one attachment is present, it is opened in its native program. For example, a PDF file will open in your system's default PDF viewer.
-
If more than one attachment is present, a dialog box appears, showing all available attachments. From this dialog box, you can double-click any displayed attachment to open it in its native program. For example, a DOCX file will open in Microsoft Word.
Viewing Attachments Using the Tab
You can use the Attachments tab, at the bottom of the interface to view all attachments for the current expense.
- Verify that the correct expense entry is selected (the one whose attachments you want to view). Once selected, the entry itself is highlighted.
-
Locate the Attachments tab at the bottom of the interface.
The number to the right of the attachment's label quickly tells you the number of attachments for the expense. In the example above, three attachments are associated with the expense entry.
-
Click the Attachments tab.
The corresponding attachments are displayed.
- Double-click an attachment to open it in the file's native program. For example, a PDF file will open in your system's default PDF viewer.
Changing the Attachment View
If you have several attachments, you may want to view them in a list or detailed format instead of the simple icon format.
