I am used to using the F2 keystroke to expand my text codes, and in Juris Suite you changed the keystroke to Ctrl + Spacebar. Why? Now I have to get used to using a new code.
Juris, Inc. has always made an effort to use commonly accepted industry practices and standards in order to reduce the learning curve for users (since most users are already familiar with these standards in other software that they already use, they don't have to learn new ones to use Juris).
With the introduction of the grid (spreadsheet) style of time and expense entry in Juris Suite, we were confronted with a conflict with using F2 to expand text codes as we have in the past with Juris. For instance, Microsoft Excel uses F2 keystroke as a standard for placing focus on a cell in order to edit the contents. It was our decision that it would be better for our users to preserve that functionality - therefore we placed the text code expansion keystroke on the Ctrl + F3 key. Alternatively, the Ctrl + Spacebar key will expand text code shortcuts when used in the time entry slip form (not in the grid).
I tried to use F9 to duplicate fields from a previous entry and it no longer works. Why?

For instance, Microsoft Excel uses F9 keystroke as a standard for calculating formulas that have changed since the last calculation. It was our decision that it would be better for our users to preserve that functionality - therefore we placed the auto-duplicate keystroke on the F11 key.
