You have the option to save and retain previous searches done in Juris Suite. These previous searches will also be searched when doing a new conflict search. So you can see if someone in your firm recently did a search for a potential client as well.
You can permanently save the search and results, automatically retain a number of days worth of searches and also save the pattern used for a search.
Saving the Search
You can permanently save the search and results and review whenever you need to. After running a conflict search perform the following:
- Click on the Save button.
- The Search will be saved and displayed in the My Conflicts section.
The results returned with that search are now saved including the run date, search text and a description. You can also sort and group these fields as needed. You can review the results at any time. Note that the results will not change if additional data is added for the search criteria. You will need to run a new search to find out if any additional information is available.
When reviewing a conflict search, if the results of one of your saved searches is found, it will be listed under 'Conflict Archive' and the Auto Save will be N (because you manually saved the search).
Deleting a Search
To delete a Search, highlight the search to be deleted and click the Delete Resultbutton.
Automatically Retain Searches
You can automatically retain searches that will be searched when you do another conflict check. The number of days the searches will be retained is based on what is defined in Settings.
This happens automatically for you, you do not have to do anything after you run your search, unless you want it permanently saved.
When reviewing a conflict search, if the results of one of your retained searches is found, it will be listed under 'Conflict Archive' and the Auto Save will be Y.
Saving a Search Pattern
If you use a common pattern frequently you can save the pattern to use on a regular basis. After you run a search:
- Click on the Save Pattern button.
-
The saved pattern will be displayed on the Conflict Inquiry node.
You can click inside the pattern on the node to rename it.
Deleting a Pattern
You can also delete the pattern.
Select the pattern in the node, and click the Delete Pattern button.
When you're ready to use that pattern in a new search, click on the pattern name, edit the keywords and then select 'Search'.
